Robert Rudolph Koeppen Selk
I worked for Bob Selk back in the early 1970s at the Iowa Unemployment office in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He was a great boss to all of us who worked there. My sympathies to his family on his loss. Kris Best
So sorry to see this. The Fowler family has known the Selk family for many years. Condolences to all.
Thoughts and Prayers for the family at this time. Bob was my first boss after college and a favorite of my Aunt Marlo Ferring. Peace and Prayers for the family.
I knew Bob when I would hang out with Stuart, his son, and he always had words of wisdom to share. He knew how to throw the fear of god in me, and I took that lesson into adulthood and was able to use it raising my own child. He had a presence about him for sure. My sympathies to the family.
Bob did my Taxes for a lot of years. We would spend about and hour talking about taxes and then the next 4 talking about life! I honestly looked forward to get our taxes done ever year and joking around with Bob. He meant a lot to us and we also had a lot of laughs, and talk about our German heritage! He was a good man!
We were sorry to hear of Bob's passing. He prepared our taxes for many years. We enjoyed shooting the breeze with him and swapping many stories. He had an infectious smile and sense of humor. Sending thoughts and prayers to his family
