Patrick Francis Boyle

Patrick Boyle passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, surrounded by love. Born in 1953 to Bob and Cathy Boyle, Pat grew up in Cascade, lowa. He graduated from lowa State University.

On September 24, 1988, Pat married Michelle (Shelley) Clark, and together they made their home in Des Moines.

Pat worked as a plumber for over 40 years, leading residential and commercial projects with skill and precision. He lived a life marked by kindness, integrity, and devotion to family and friends. His warmth and generosity touched everyone who knew him.

 Pat will be remembered for his gentle spirit, his dedication for those he cared about, and his unwavering support of the ISU Cyclones and Kansas City Chiefs. He leaves behind a legacy of compassion and strength that will continue to inspire.

 Family and friends will gather to celebrate Patrick's life on Friday, December 5. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Des Moines. 

In lieu of flowers, please consider honoring his memory through memorials to the Food Bank of Iowa.

Pat is survived by his wife Shelley; siblings: Linda, Dianne (Dale), Mike (Nancy); Mary (Jeff), and Maureen (Dave); brother-in-law Bo (Lara) Clark; and several nieces and nephews.
