Obituary for Floyd Allen Hendricks

"OMG. A BEST FRIEND has departed. I was sorry to hear the news when Scott called me Saturday evening. \r\nAs with many musicians, I worked in several bands with Al. He took me under his wing when first coming home from the Marine Corps. Together, we picked, sang, fished, had a drink or two and hopefully helped others enjoy the music....at least the way we did it. \r\nAl was a unique blend of worker, Father, musician and most of all friend! He will NEVER be forgotten! AL is the one that taught us how to enjoy a shot of Tequila correctly. Salt first, then tequila then the lemon INCLUDING the rind! May he rest in peace until we meet again at the big jam session."
