Obituary for Donagene Hawk

"I will never forget the day Donagene stepped inside our store and said I want to work for you and I think I can be a lot of help. Her confidence allowed us to hire her on the spot. She then became a part of our \"family\" enjoying finding that special gift for everyone that came in and watching all our kids grow up. Then came the day she said, now it's time for me to go. I begged her to stay. But she reminded me that she would tell us when she couldn't do the job anymore, and that day arrived. She still however, continued to make us our favorite soups each winter for a while. She will be missed."
