My condolences to Jerry’s family and friends. I have had the pleasure to work with you beloved father, grandfather, love, brother, or friend for over two years. His stories of swimming across the lake to fishing, hunting, and dancing were one of many daily stories I’ve heard. His love for all of you was so true and strong. He spoke of all of you so highly. I felt as though I have known you all. It has been my pleasure to help and care for your dad, grandfather, brother, love and friend for as long as time allowed. He was a great man. A big teddy bear. Yes as the family has said please tell the ones you care about and love it daily or whenever you can, because tomorrow is too long. Thank you all for allowing myself and staff to care for him. Jerry will surely be missed and loved a ton. I am sure glad I got to tell him that I missed him and that I loved him on Friday. I will miss his laugh and his remarks, especially about how I razzed him get up everyday I worked and did calisthenics with him, or how I shaved him all the time, and why did I have too? You see when Jerry first came he said to me, “ I shaved every morning.” So I in turned kept it going. I hope you all keep his name and all his wonderful memories going. My condolences to the family. I am very fortunate to have had the Block family in my life growing up. I spent many nights and days in their home with my best friend Steve. Jerry always made me feel welcome, he made me laugh and made me feel at home in his home. Rest in peace Jerry, you will be missed but never forgotten.
