Stephen Lee Pettus, 72, of Robins, Iowa passed away Saturday, December 17, 2022. Services will be held at a later date.
Stephen was born October 3, 1950, to Edward and Virginia (Jordan) Pettus in Terre Haute, Indiana. He worked as an engineer at Alliant Energy until his retirement in 2008 after giving thirty years of service. He enjoyed wood working, fishing, camping, his guns, playing pool, and spoiling his grandchildren and his great grandchildren. Stephen loved his family and cherished the time he spent with them.
He is survived by his children, Gina Pettus, Jeff Pettus, and Jeremy Carstens; grandchildren, Joe Hubbard, Cole Carstens, Rick Carstens, Nora Finely, Alana Finley, and Loic Gustin-Pettus; great grandchildren, Jett Carstens, and Ember Carstens; brothers, Jordan Pettus, Ed Pettus, and John Pettus; along with many nieces and nephews.
Stephen was preceded in death by his parents.
