Laurie and I had become friends through her craft page. She was the sweetest lady, we quickly developed a close friendship. I am so deeply saddened to hear about her passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. She was such a precious women. I will miss her very much.

I am so sorry for the loss of this beautiful woman. She was my cousin and my friend. We enjoyed many lunches and dinners together. She was full of life and laughter. She was kind and giving. She loved her family. Tuesday we had just had lunch with Her, Owen,, my Chrissy and her tribe,, and My sister Judy,, together at the Pizza House in Galesburg. She commented that years ago,, when she was with Her Gramma Laura and Mag, they would frequently get Pizza House, always delivered. I reach out to all family with my deepest sympathy and love. My sincere condolences to Laurie's family. Laurie was my cousin on our mother's side. We never knew each other "well", but I loved her for sure. We recently reconnected and I am sad that her death will prevent me from knowing her better. Kara, I am so sorry for your loss and I hope we can reconnect as well. God's peace to you.

I never met Laurie in person, but we talked a good deal. She and I had a lot in common and enjoyed talking about everything! I am so very sorry she is gone. My love to her children and her Grandchildren. Without a doubt she adores them all. And my heart is broke for Bryon. She told me on the 31st how he was her rock and she was so blessed to have him. She loved you BF. Always will.

Kaye and I were only able to spend a short amount of time with Laurie but she was always an absolute joy to be around. Her personality was incredible and she was deeply caring about those around her. Whenever my dad and her were around each other you could really see how they were meant to be together, made for each other. Laurie was his best friend. Our prayers go out to Laurie's family and my dad. May she rest in peace. We love you.
