Robert Don Wilson
We are heartbroken to lose our dear father but his life course of daily Bible reading, heartfelt prayers, acts of godly devotion and firm stand for what he felt was right is a legacy we will continue to endeavor to put into practice in our lives. His example of reaching out to others that suffered from depression as he did, reinforces that while he may have been a man of few words he was a man with deep feelings. I look forward to deepening my relationship with my Dad and working hard alongside him for an eternity to come. Wink
I had the privilege of forming a friendship with Bob and Jean around 10 years ago. Bob was a kind, soft spoken man that always, without hesitation, welcomed me to his home. During my stay he would encourage me when he shared his life experiences and spiritual knowledge. I cherish the time that I was able to spend with him and will miss his gentle ways, his smile and his beautiful prayers. My love to all of you in the loss of such a dear loved one. Pat
Your beautiful father is definitely going to be missed. Our hearts are with you all at this time. There is a quote I have always loved about the preciousness of individual people, “Never be squandered the miracle of another human being.” Your father’s memory won’t be squandered in our hearts and minds.
Bob was a man with such a big heart. He may have been soft spoken but what he said and how he spoke showed his love for others. I thank him for welcoming me into his family. I will miss him greatly.
Dad was a sweet and funny guy. He fell much but bounced back like rubber. He moved around so quietly he should of been in the CIA. He was a hard worker and a spiritual man. I’ll miss him so
Bob was mild quiet man who had a strong hug. He will be missed.
Your family is in our thoughts and prayers. I always loved Bob's comments and experiences at the meetings. It made me smile how he lit up when he would see Gwen and called her his baby. ?? We look forward to seeing him again. I’m going to hit him up for some carpentry lessons.
Bob was a hardworking and kind man. Kathy enjoyed working with him on the Mason City Kingdom Hall remodel. He was a quiet person, but always made time to chat a little with the friends. We look forward to seeing him ‘stand’ again.
We always enjoyed Bob's company ,no matter where we were at. Especially when he was helping us at our home. Oh the memories we have! His love and compassion for all in the congregation was outstanding. When each one was going through hardships , he took time to listen. If he didn't have a the right word at the right time ... Bob always had a hug that said it all. Thank you for sharing your family head with all of us. Like you, we look forward to seeing him again in the near future. Mel and Jane
Dear Aunt Jean and family, My heart was saddened by this news. So many memories of good times with Uncle Bob and all of you from Iowa to California and back to Iowa. He always reminded me of Dad. I know he always wanted to live as long as Grandpa Wilson and almost made it. Sending my love and hoping you find strength in knowing he is at peace. Love, Janelle
It's very hard to imagine what the family of Bob is going through. My heart really goes out to you! We look forward to seeing him when he is raised up in perfect health! He has won the race, because he was faithful to the end.Thinklng of you with love ??
