Reverend Nicholas S. Longworth

Oh, the stories I can tell. Stories borne of a long and close friendship. Stories of being counselors at 4-6 grade church camp. Stories of camping year-after-year on the Upper Peninsula. Stories of meals shared. But no stories of confidences kept. So many things shared. What a life! His special ringtone on my phone will sound no more. And, to you, Jen, thanks for sharing your father with me. Rest in peace, Nick, and rise in glory!

I met Nick through our association with the Methodist Youth Fellowship. Nick's kindness, calming demeanor, and playful spirit made an instant impression. It is a privilege and an honor to have known him and called him my friend. I will miss out thought provoking conversations. I love you, Nick.

I will always remember Nick for his kindness, sense of compassion and love for his animals. When working on LTACH, he was our “fashion” model. He dressed in hospital gown drag with crayola marker eyeshadow. He knew how to lift spirits better than anyone I know. He made each day brighter. I will search for the picture! Bless you and yours.
