Denny and I were so sad to read of Bob’s passing. He was a marvel—a gifted doctor, cellist and friend. We will always remember the many years we enjoyed watching him play with the Cedar Rapids Symphony/ Orchestra Iowa. Our hearts go out to all the Swaney family. Dear Ann, David, Susan, and Family, I was so sorry to hear of Bob's passing. I have so many fond memories, from the early days of PPA to seeing him perform in the orchestra, and enjoying being with his grandchildren. What a remarkable life, and I trust you are planning a fitting tribute for Sunday. Unfortunately, I am performing a matinee and will not be able to attend, but I hope these words bring some measure of comfort in your time of loss. You have my sympathy.
