Tadd Earnest Nichols
Tadd was such a great guy - an inspiration and great friend - and he will be missed. David so enjoyed his company and his good attitude. We always looked forward to ALS support group and seeing what Tadd & Barb were up to. My thoughts and prayers to Barb and family.
Tadd and Tim were my classmates in Iowa Falls. I have always had the utmost respect for them. Within the past year I had communicated with Tadd on FB messenger and enjoyed our little chats. We liked to reminisce about Owasa and my cousins, aunt and uncle. Sending sincere sympathy, thoughts, and prayers to the family. Rest In Peace, Tadd.
Rest in peace, my friend. We'll do hall duty together again some day in Heaven's high school. Blessings to your family.
I taught HS Industrial Arts in Independence with Tadd from 1971 to 1979 and we shared classroom space. He was a great colleague and always eager to pitch in and never afraid to get his hands dirty along with mine to repair shop equipment that always seemed to need attention. He always seemed to have a special attraction from his students as he worked to pass on many of the skills that he was so proficient at. May he now enjoy "Shop Heaven!"
We send our deepest sympathy. Tadd was an amazing man and will be missed by so many. He was an inspiration to all. We will be keeping you in our thoughts and prayers.
Barb, So sorry to read of Tadd’s passing. Did not know him but I keep hearing how beloved he was to many people in his years of teaching. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Barb Lindsay (Mildred Burger’s neighbor)
Deepest sympathies for your loss, Tadd was a great teacher!
I taught at Indee HS back in the 1980's. Tad, and brother, Tim were two of the nicest people I have ever met. They were such hard workers, true gentlemen, so polite, caring, and respectful to everyone. They were so good to my special needs students and so welcoming to have them in their classes. I wish to extend my deepest sympathies to Tad's wife, son, and grandchildren, and to Tim and family. You were a great blessing to so many during your time on earth! Well done, good and faithful servant! Sue (Huebner) Hlas
Prayers and condolences to Mr Nichols and his family. He was by far the best teacher I ever had. I use many of the things he taught me on a daily basis. He was also a great friend and leader during some of the darkest days of my life. Looking forward to seeing you someday on the other side.
