Mark Peveto
Alicia, Mark indeed was a Southern Prince. He inspired so many in the face of adversity. He would never give up and that showed his great love for you. I so enjoyed conversations in the car with him. He taught me so much about how to live life in the best way. I pray for great peace and strength for you. Barb from Rider's Club
I have so many memories of Mark on what would have been his birthday! He would have been at work with me today, and then we would have come home and I would have cooked him his favorite supper. His favorite supper was, prime rib, mashed potatos, corn, and cookies cake. I'd give him lots of hugs, and lots of kisses too. Happy heavenly birthday Markie
My heart goes out to you, Alicia, in the loss of Mark. He fought so hard and wanted to stay with you for ever. I'm so glad I got to know him even if for just as long as the rides we shared through Rider's Club. Love, Diane
My thoughts and prayers are with all the family and friends, especially Alicia. I got to know this kind couple while providing rides to them for Rider's Club. We would always have such lively conversations in the car with Mark even teaching me some southern phrases. Mark is an inspiration to all who knew him. He taught me to always embrace the positive things in life. He will be missed by us all. I hope to make it to his memorial service on Saturday.
Mark was an inspiration to me and many others. someone who was always positive in spite of the situation. A fighter and a Loving devoted Husband. I wish I could be half the man he was. I wish you peace Alicia. My heart goes out to you and may God continue to bless you.
Mark, you fought an incredible fight, and with your Alicia by your side each day. You showed me what real strength is. You showed us all how to fight with strength and dignity. You fought everyday through he pain and anguish. The only good thing that I can come to is that your pain is now over and you are with our God. Alicia, even though we have never met I want to wrap our in a warm hug and let you fall apart. My strength to you as our go on without your prince. May you think of him and smile through the pain. Love from me xz
It is a blessing you two met and were married. My prayers are for you to find peace in knowing he is not hurting any more. May you also find peace in the memories you two made in your time together.
So sorry to hear of Mark’s passing. It was an honor to have met such a courageous person in the face of his cancer. I hope to hear more of Mark’s witty stories from Alecia on our Rider’s Club drives in the future. Alecia and family, you are in our family’s prayers!!
May all of Marks' family, and especially you Alicia, find peace beyond all understanding in the weeks and months to come.
Alicia, Mark was an angel that touched so many lives, including mine. I enjoyed hearing his accent come out the more passionate he talked about something, or depending on the story, if it was about "back home". Your love and dedication to one another was testament to the world and I was so blessed and honored to witness this, it was truly a gift. I pray for peace and strength for you, in all the days to come as we celebrate Mark's life now in Heaven.
Alicia, this is Mary from Riders Club. My heart broke for you when I saw the obituary in the Gazette. The two of you handled the difficult last few months with grace, dignity, and courage. I feel blessed to have known Mark, and I'm so glad you had the time together that you did. I know that Mark is in a place of peace and comfort now, and I hope you can find peace as well. Much love and sympathy to you. --Mary
Alicia, I am so sorry for your loss. You-all are in my thoughts.
