I enjoyed the "grouchiest bastard" comment because beneath that grouchy exterior beat a heart of gold. He would do anything for anybody even though he might at times "grouse" about it. We will miss him!

Mike was an absolutely wonderful person...a character...a personality...always there with a story, and oh how I loved to reminisce with him on the old days at WMT. A great friend of Camp Courageous...we will dearly miss Mike...

You had to really know Mike to understand his humor. Wonderful friend, fun coworker, crazy guy on a round trip or just riding city buses around town. Billy Clyde Tuggle was his favorite actor on soap All My Children. Missed but not forgotten!

Sherry and Jeff, we want to send you and your family our deepest sympathy with the passing of your dad. Jim enjoyed working with him for many years. Then came the Garage Sale Championships each year, better known as the WWCGS. The weekly Saturday breakfasts at Mikhael's became a great gathering place for friends. I loved it when your dad would call our house and ask "is the man of the house there?" His quick wit and infectious laugh will be greatly missed. God bless to your family.

I just learned of this great mans' passing. I worked with Mike at WMT600am and he was the grouchiest bastard I ever met, but we made each other laugh and he was a friend/ . I will greatly miss you Mr. Jagielski. - BTW, I finally learned how to say your last name today. (private joke)

Their were things I wanted to tell you that I never had the strength to say. I hope I didn't disappoint you the way I lived my life. Miss you already. Death is such an absolute, that I am unable to comprehend or wrap my mind around. My life will never be the same. Hopefully someday, I'll see you on the other side .. :(

Mike was so awesome! I LOVED working with him at WMT and hanging out with him. He was one of those rare people in life that "got it". I will always hold on to my memories of him and remember him often. I still have the "Champ" badge buddy. I look at it everyday. Thanks for your friendship.

Thoughts and prayers to his family. Michael was the smile that greeted WMT listeners for a long time and was well known for his early morning hot breakfast that made everyone hungry when they walked in the door first thing in the morning. He had a quick wit and unique view of the world. We miss his jokes and behind the scenes antics. He will always be a part of the WMT history of success. I know he's looking down on us know from the stairway of heaven.

I have lost my Bro. Now I'm the last of my immediate family. The day before he was to leave the hospital to live out his last days under his loving nurse and daughter Sherry's roof, I told him via phone that I would get my butt down there to see him ASAP.. And typically, Mike sarcastically said, in his usual humorous way, "Hell, don't rush, I ain't going any time soon!" But he surprised us all, for I know he wanted this tragedy to happen quickly, for he did not want daughter Sherry and his loving son Jeff to watch him waste away as we both did our father for years in a nursing home. In the end he did what he wanted to do, as was typical of my brother Mike, or Micky, as we close to him always called him lovingly through the years. I see from those associates who knew my brother had him outwardly pegged in their condolences. He had a sparkling personality and was always humorous. The "front" he put up was just that! A front! Underneath there beat a heart which contained only serious love, for his dear family, which he dedicatedly gave his life to, and to his friends who he held closely. I will miss him beyond measure. Even though the miles separated us through our later life, we always maintained contact via occasional visits, and our treasured phone calls always left us with laughter, love, and warmth. Though I could go on endlessly, I will spare the reader with a request. Please look VERY closely at the picture enclosed in this obituary. This picture perfectly mirrors my brother's inner self. Just look at that smirk hidden in his smile. If you knew him, really knew him, your would see what I am getting at. There was a much deeper inner self to Micky which few were ever able to penetrate and understand, because, that is the way he wanted it, that special spot he reserved for himself. I think he even thought that his brother didn't see through it, but Micky, I did, and understood! See you soon on the other side Micky.....
