Donald J. Moore

I met Don back in 1991 when I was just 17 years old. I agreed to study the Bible with him and we would meet at his house every Saturday afternoon at 1pm. His wonderful wife Tenna would have a beautiful lunch for us usually consisting of a Danish recipe representative of her native Denmark. After lunch we would study literally for hours in the ‘Live Forever’ publication and Don and Tenna would proceed to answer all of my Bible questions thoroughly. They were so patient, kind and loving. Tenna would then prepare a beautiful dinner for us and we would either continue studying in the ‘Live Forever’ book or study the Watchtower article for that week. Our studies would continue well past midnight every time. At least during one month, Don was able to achieve his 60 hour auxiliary pioneer requirement solely on our studies alone lol. I will always cherish those times with them. Don and Tenna Moore were a major factor in my becoming one of Jehovahs Witnesses back in 1992 and remain as such today. They were like parents to me for a very long time. I miss them and think of them every day. I know we will see each other again in the new system and long to embrace them both again.
