Michael D. Johnson
We are very sorry to hear about the loss of Mike. He was a very good friend. I really enjoyed working at quaker Oats with him. I was glad to help him get started with the VA. I will always remember him as the Quaker Santa. He will be greatly missed. Pete
So sorry to hear about Mike. Just saw him a couple of weeks ago eating breakfast at Cooper''s Mill. He always had a smile on his face no matter what. He was a union man tried and true. It doesn't get any easier but keep good memories in your heart. My thoughts and prayers to Pearl and his family. May God bless you all.

We have known Michael and Pearl most of our lives. Michael was a hard worker and enjoyed life. He will truly be missed by everyone! We have always been close friends with Chuck, Pearl's brother and their family. A loss so close is so hard. Please accept our sincere regrets and thoughts. Our hearts and deepest sympathy go out to you. Larry & Jeanna Sager
My sincere sympathy to the family of Mike Johnson. I knew Mike before Quaker, worked with Mike at Quaker, and had the pleasure of talking with Mike a few times at Hy-Vee after Quaker. Mike was good man, and will be fondly remembered and missed by many. Steve Long
Pearl and I were best friends in school. Met Mike when they were married. I will miss you and the good times. Brandee and I are both saddened by Mikes passing. We had not got to see him on our recent trips to Iowa. Love you Michael. Our prayers go with you. Now you and John can BS forever!!!!!!!!! Love, Donna
Mike, my twin brother Ron and I go back to when Mike was 11 years old. We grew up with HO cars, first jobs at paper routes, and the Flame Room Restaurant. Mike went in the service and was proud of his service in Vietnam. As for me I too went in the service, but did not hear from Mike until he came into my office with presumptive diseases associated with Agent Orange. I was proud to know Mike, he was a loyal loving husband, good friend, and proud Vietnam Veteran. I know he suffered these last few months, and I pray he will rest in peace. Until we made again, I salute you Mike for your service and your values. You have had a positive influence on all those that met him.
Mike was a very caring, friendly, nice & wonderful man our whole family thought of him as a very close & good friend. We were so happy he joined us for lunch on VETERANS DAY (NOV. 11th) at TEXAS ROADHOUSE & we got to catch up & reminisce of good & happy times! Just so sorry when he told us about his failing health & dialysis 3x a week. He will be greatly missed by us & our whole family. Our deepest sympathy, love & prayers go out to you, Pearl. GOD BLESS.
