Clarence C. Wright, 83 of Cedar Rapids died Wednesday September 30, 2015 at his home. Funeral Mass: 10:00 AM on Monday at St Pius X Catholic Church. Feel free to wear clothing attire related to the Cubs or the color purple, his favorite color.
Survivors include his wife Barbara, three sons Jon (Mary) of Maple Grove, Minnesota, Mike (Donna) of Austin, Texas and Jamie of Cedar Rapids; one daughter Kris Wright of Cedar Rapids and one brother Bill (Rosie) of Schereville, Indiana. He is also survived by six grandchildren Thomas, Hannah, Mikala, Brandon, Rhianne and Samara.
Clarence was born on June 10, 1932 in Joliet, Illinois the son of Clarence and Mary Lazar Wright. He married Barbara M. Hrusosky on June 30, 1956 in Joliet, Illinois. Clarence worked for the United States Shoe Company as a sales rep for many years and later was the owner and operator of the Art Mart Gallery.
Clarence was a faithful member of St. Pius Catholic Church. He enjoyed travel with Barb, the Chicago Cubs, Notre Dame and especially the time spent with his beloved family. His memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved him.
Memorial donations may be given to the Alzheimer’s Foundation or the American Cancer Society.
