Robert W. Adams

This has been some very difficult news to absorb. Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought I would lose my "little" cousin Robbie. We were privileged to eat out with Rob, Sheryl and Paula in May 2013 when our son graduated from the Univ. of Iowa. We had a terrific time and laughed---A LOT! I razzed Rob on the fact that he had caught up with the rest of us cousins as he had just turned 50 the month before. My mind has been overflowing with memories of our younger years. We had fun playing together at the Adams House. I LOVED playing Hot Wheels with Rob---he had a super big track, lots of cars to go with it. We had fun playing outside, enjoyed our Tharp holidays together which of course involved LOTS of good food! Jordan, Ross, Alyssa, Sheryl, Paula & Doug, you have one outstanding man who made a great impact on your lives. He was the "baby" of the entire Tharp Clan. I love you, Rob. I can only imagine what kind of party you are enjoying with all the Tharp Angels in Heaven.

So very sorry to hear of the passing of Rob. I knew him as a loving father and all around great person. He loved his children very much. Always taking an interest in their what they were doing, and helping them in any way he could. I enjoyed the times we spent together hunting, the camaraderie, and talking about our mutual interests. From one former Police Officer to another, I respected my brother Officer. I knew he projected himself as a fair and compassionate man, who will live longer in the hearts of others long after his passing! My hope is we will be reunited in Heaven, and take up where we left off.
