Best wishes and prayers to your family...it has been decades...but We remember well of you... Daniel Lee Estabrook (of SD/Va.) You probably remember Carol ...my mother...of SD
Ruthie, I was so saddened to see your husband's obituary in the paper today. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
I know it's been a while, but Ruth and Julie, you are in my thoughts. I have many fond memories of many nights spent with all of you. I am very sorry for your loss.
HI RUTH, I'M SO SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT YOUR HUSBAND. HE WAS WAY TO YOUNG. YOU AND YOUR FAMILY ARE IN MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS. MY SINCERE SYMPATHY, KAREN
Ruth and Julie I am so very sorry for your loss. I can't tell you how many times Dennis took me home when he came to work to get Ruth. Rain, snow or moonlight it didn't matter he would give me a ride. He came to work every night to get Ruth and he ALWAYS brought Princess. Every night Ruth would open the door and say " Hi Princess". I finally said to Ruth I always hear you say hi to the dog but I never hear you say hi to Dennis. Ruth replied when he's as happy to see me as the dog is I'll say hi to him too !!! We've laughed about that for years. Dennis loved my white cake and I always sent all the leftover cake home with Ruth for him. One day he left the cake in the middle of the kitchen table and ran a few errands. While he was gone Princess ate his cake. Dennis put her on his naughty list! I called Ruth a while back to say hi and she was out of town but when she got back he remembered to tell her I called. He couldn't remember my name but told her it was her crazy friend. She knew right away he ment me. I always think of Dennis when I see an unusual chess set. I can honestly say Dennis is leaving his family many many happy memories.
Ruth, and family, so sorry to hear of your loss.I'm thinking & praying for you at this difficult time of sorrow! I hope you’ll find comfort in memories of your warm & happy family times spent together!! Love & hugs to you all. . . Chris G
I was shocked and deeply saddened by the news regarding Dennis. Dennis has meant so much to me over the years. He sold me my first car - and then proceeded to help me work on it any time I asked. He was always there to lend a hand to Dean, David, Randy and me to help us turn a wrench. The late night card games at Dennis and Ruth's house remain a very fond memory. I seem to recall that he helped bail a few of us (not me!!) out one night as well! I was in town in December and David, Dean and I decided to stop over one night - late - after having dinner and a few margaritas at Papa Juan's. We pounded on his door at 10 - and he opened the door with a grin and welcomed us in - just like old times. We ended up talking and playing poker all night. I'm so happy that we stopped in to say hello - because I had no idea that would be the last time I would have that chance. Thank you, Dennis, for being a good man, a great friend, a great father to Julie, a wonderful husband to Ruth and for always being there when we were in need. You were family to me and you will be greatly missed.
I am shocked to hear of Dennis's passing. My oldest son, Davin, was always at Dennis's house with Ryan. Dennis was such a good guy and gave my two boys rides home from Arthur everyday when they were little. Isaac just mentioned his rides home with Dennis last night. Julie, Colby, Haylie, and Ryan our thoughts are with you and we are so sorry for your loss.
