The day of Dec 4th I was driving to work (Solon Nursing Facility) and I came upon an accident. I got out to see if there was anything I could do to help. However I couldn't get into the car where Patricia was because of how badly the car was smashed on her side. So I crawled through the back seat and took Patricia in my arms and told her I am a Nurse and I was there with her and would help her and that more help was on the way. I told her that her husband was next to her. She kept blinking her eyes at me. I'll never forget it. So I gently brushed the glass particles out of her hair and off her face. I kept assuring her I was there with her. As I was holding her I could feel her just fade away. I didn't let go. I kept holding her until they were able to get the door off to get to her. I also held Bunyans hand and told him I was there as well. I am so sorry for your loss! I cried in the car with her as soon as I realized she had passed. But please know that she was held in my arms and was not alone. I was there with her.
We are very sorry for your lost. Lisa, our prayers are with you and B T.
My deep felt sympathy to Bunyan, and to the children and grandchildren, at the sudden loss of your wife, mother and grandmother. Of course I fondly remember Patsy, and you, Bunyan, from Wilson and from Jefferson, though I moved away from Cedar Rapids long ago and only attended one reunion, our 50th from Jefferson. May God surround you with His love and comfort, family and friends for support. Cecilia (Arnold) Noss
