Esther Ann Wienhold
My deepest sympathy to the entire Wienhold family. I was so sorry to hear of her passing. I will never forget her as one of my favorite teachers and was so honored when she asked me to stand up for either Teri or Toni when they were confirmed. Thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
Dear Folks, Our sympathy and prayers to you all, especially Kathy and Delmar! Your Mom is finally at peace and with God. We will be thinking of you folks and remembering you in our prayers. In friendship, Loren and Pat
I love and miss you Mom.
Esther was a lot of fun. I remember her helping me find the right dress to borrow for homecoming or prom (They were Teri and Toni's dresses). Esther also showed mom and I how to make silk flowers for our wedding. She will always be remember as Grandma Wienhold with our family. Our thoughts and prayers to you all.
.I love you so much. I miss talking with you and all and all the time I spent with you. I miss you.
Esther was a wonderful teacher and a good friend. I never would've made it through 6th grade science without her the one year we taught together! She taught me that year as well as the students!! I continued to use some of the activities I learned from her for the rest of my teaching career. Esther loved her family and talked about all of you often. You have my sincerest condolences.
Miss you adn love you always. All the time I got to spend with you I will cherish my whole life. Always in my heart.
Grandma, You were always so honest with us as kids. You were always loving, no matter how ornery we were. You taught us a lot about life, love, and I will never forget all the memories we shared. You were always so excited for all the adventures we took in life. You were encouraging and helped everyone. Cyrus is very lucky to have known you. We were lucky you got to spend so much time with him, and he enjoyed every minute of it! We will never forget the time when you kept giving him stickers and he had them stuck all over his face and grandpa's face! We laughed so hard that day! We will never let him forget you- we have many pictures that we will cherish! We love you very much and miss you. Glad Uncle Trevor will be there to hold your hand in heaven. Until we meet again~ Karen Anne
Mom will always be in our hearts and thoughts, Her caring ways will never be forgotten.
Dear Ted, Billie Jo & Family, I was so sorry to hear about your mother, Ted. We had talked many times about her teaching years and how she often shared those skills with you at home. I will say a prayer for her and all your family that pleasant memories help to ease the sadness in your hearts. As Ever, Jeanne Huber
Lots of good times and fun at the Wienhold home in Jesup back in the day. Pat & Jean, Those were the good fun memorable parties!!! Esther was "Mom" to alot of us teenagers back then. Always honest, kind, and a good listener and caring and helpful. My sincere sympathy to Leo and the entire family. She will be missed, but she can now rest and be at peace. With all my love, Carol Noe
Our deepest sympathy and our prayers are with you.
I love you always. You will always be in my heart. The past few months were hard at times, but we did eveything we could for you and I would not change anything that we did. The time I spent with you and dad is time I will always treaure and remember. I know you are at peace now. Trevor will hold your hand now.
I will never forget the first time I met you & Leo...we had been to Osborne Park with the kids & you two were camping at Elkader Park...a rainy day with a camper full of people fixing supper, laughing & Leo telling jokes...I felt right at home! In the years that have followed you have always welcomed & included the boys, Ethan & Avery, something very special and dear to my heart! Grandparents are so needed when growing up! I so enjoyed our times talking, our shared love of flowers & crafts... if i ever needed something for a scout or school project you had it or knew what to use! I take great pride when im asked if I'm related to Esther Wienhold the school teacher...I always hear "you know you learned something if you had her". My wonderful husband is the man he is today because of you & Leo and I thank you for that, loving, caring, and respectful...a good son as you would say. Watch over us knowing that you are missed & we will cherrish our memories keeping you close in our hearts forever!
My mother was so proud of her family. A few years ago we were shopping in Hy-Vee and she started talking to people about her children and how proud she was. She introduced me as her daughter fro Arizona, she beamed when she spoke of her children. I consider myself very lucky to have had her for as long as I did...but you always want more. I am sure she is at peace watching over all of us, and Trevor is a big help to her now.
Mrs Weinhold was my favorite teacher at Jesup! She was a caring and patient woman! She always made us laugh in class, she was so fun, but she also could be stern with us if we tried to push our limits. I still remember her laugh and smile! Sending the Weinhold family my toughts and prayers! Toni (Johnson) Nie
