Verl E. Timm
many many found memories -- certainly will miss Verl
Uncle Verl was the life of the party as he shared his energy, wit, and enthusiasm at family gatherings. May He Who blessed us with a spirited uncle, heal and comfort Verl's dear family, quickly bring sunshine into life for them once again.
Uncle Verl - the best of uncles! I will remember him with a perpetual grin and always a cheerful "Hi Barby!" I will miss him.
With a very heavy heart I send to Pat, Marty, Beth, Ken and kiddos my deepest sympathies.... I am so sad about this news. Verl has been a part of my life since I was born. Our families growing up together camping, fishing, grilling turkeys every year at Goulsburg while all of us kids swam......One good memory I have always about Verl is for some reason every April Fools Day, he would get me! I think every other year he'd have me go into Marty's bedroom and look out the window telling me that our house was on fire!!!! I finally got old enough that I didn't buy that one anymore! I love this man very much and will miss knowing that he is among us. He was a was a great man who loved his family, friends, business, and his town of West Union. And everybody loved him too!!!! He will be sorely missed by many. May the Lord comfort Pat and the family in the upcoming days. I wish for you all Restful Nights and Peaceful Days in the days ahead. I love Verl, and all of you too!!!
For the last 6 or 7 years I helped Pat and Verl with their yard work, and a few other chores. When I would arrive, Verl would sometimes say get in the garage, hurry up. The cops are looking for you! I'll never forget that sentence. And finally, when I was finished trimming and done with whatever, Verl would ask: What do I owe you? I always replied: How much have you got Verl? Verl and myself got along real well, that was for sure. Rest in peace
