Randy, we were saddened to read about the lose of your mother. You were very lucky to be able to spend the last couple of months with your mom. Celebrate her life and remember you will meet again. May God bless you and your family. Dick & Vicki

Mom: There are not enough words in the dictionary that appropriately describe how much you have meant to me over the course of my lifetime, but I do know that I was very very fortunate to be able to call you my Mother. You nurtured me, taught me values, guided me when I needed guidance, and did all this in a loving and caring way. The Bible says that a woman was made from the rib of a man, but from what I have witnessed while here on earth is that a good woman is all of any man, and then some. I am so sorry that your last 60 days here on this earth were so difficult due to your disease, but I feel very honored since you gave me my very first breath on this earth to have been there at your bedside comforting you until you took your very last breath on this earth. The gates to heaven opened when you passed away, and you are now on your way to receive God's good blessings. Mom,you are gone from this earth as we know it, but I promise you, that you will be thought of often, and you will never be forgotten. I Love you Mom !!!! Your Son, Randy

Randy, So sorry for your lose. It tough losing your parents but it is just another step toward eternal life. We learn so much from them and sometimes can't thank them enough. Your being with her was the ultimate thankyou a mom could get. Bless you. 514.

Lyle, Randy and Karen: I was so sorry to read this in the e-line Gazette. We used to live next door in Velda's upstairs apartment on 9th Street YEARS ago when the twins were not even in school yet! Have often thought of you and wondered about you. I've moved all over the place, mostly in the Houston area (25 years), then SoCal (20 years), and now back to Houston (9 years). I so thoroughly enjoyed your friendship!!! Please accept my condolences on losing your wife and mother. You will always have her in your heart even though she's not "here" any longer. Randy, I'm so sorry for the loss of your mother. It's been a tough year and a half losing your Mom and your Dad. Oh I know he wasn't your real dad, but he was dad to you. I'm so glad you were able to be there for your mother when she really needed you and I'm glad you had the opportunity at the end to find out that you needed her too. I'm sure she (and he) are in a better place and their pains and struggles are gone. Life goes on and we are so very close to being there ourselves. Life as we know it now seems so short. Enough sniffling, now get back to work and get that Super Sport together. Love you like a brother. You are my brother. Rod
