Obituary for Phillip R. Frahm

Phillip R. Frahm, 79, of Robins, IA passed away on Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at his home. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Friday, August 30, 2013 at the Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories with a visitation from 10:00-11:00 am at the chapel. A celebration of life will continue at the family home in Robins following the memorial service from 2:00-5:00 pm on Friday, August 30th. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Elizabeth; Sons, Randal (Barb) Frahm of Cedar Rapids, Rich Frahm of Cedar Rapids, Doug (Vicki) Frahm of Ft. Dodge, IA and Charles "Will" (Sherry) Frahm of Cottonwood, CA; 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; Siblings, Charles Frahm of Anahein, CA, Maxine Johnson of Attleboro, MA, Allene Parish of Lindale, TX and James Frahm of Fairfax, VA. He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers-in-law. Phillip Randall Frahm was born December 12, 1933 in Mason City, Iowa the son of Peter and Emily Marian (Bistline) Frahm. On November 27, 1952 he married Elizabeth Pearl Langlotz in Mason City, Iowa. Phil worked for Western Electric for over 37 years and was a supervisor at his time of retirement in 1989. He enjoyed traveling, their winters in Mesa, AZ, was a true "Fixer" working on and around his home, and helping friends with their computer issues.
