Steven L. Himschoot

I lived across the street from Steve and his family for many years. When we were old enough to work, we worked for Steve laying concrete, painting hosues, and any other job he could give us. He was very good to my brother and me. It's been a long time since I last saw Steve, but I still have vivid memories of our work and the conversations I had with him. Wishing his family peace and comfort during this difficult time. God bless. Tyler Dek

Steve was a good friend to so many people. He enjoyed life and a good laugh. He enjoyed telling a good story, and he could see solutions to life's challenges in his unique and wise way. Steve was very smart and this helped him to see past obstacles which would hinder a lesser man. He enjoyed competition, but, for him, winning was not everything. I will miss his fishing stories, all true! And I truly enjoyed the one trip I took with him to Baudette, MN to his grandma Ruth's resort late one October - a trip to remember with a good friend. I will miss Steve. I pray God's blessings on his family as they remember him and his life well lived.
