Charles A. Jungman

1943 was a long time ago--and probably the last time we saw each other, but the High School years were very important to me, and several of us that were in that January graduating class still correspond--now via e-mail, so the notice of your death at ager 87 strikes "home" with me. I will be 87 in December. Your life and now death are in the thoughts of us who knew you--even tho' it was long ago. We end our sincere sympathy to your family. You will bre missed.

Chuck, Chuck the pork and bean eater!!! I remember calling him that as a child, he must have liked pork and beans. Debbie was my best friend in the whole world growing up, I almost lived at her house. Every day we would walk to the corner and set and wait for Chuck to come home for lunch. When we saw his car coming we would jump up and bounce like two little kids on pogo sticks, waiting for him to turn the corner and come to a stop. We would run one to each side, jump on the running board, and hold on through the window. I loved Chuck he was like a second father to me. He would always say to me before I left " Mary don't go away mad, just go away"" I would giggle because I knew he loved me. A few years ago I stopped to visit him and Genny, and as I left he said "Don't go away mad, just go away" and the twinkle was still in his eyes, and I knew I was loved!!! Chuck and Genny gave the gift of lovealu3g
