Very sorry to hear about Doc's passing. He was a great guy. He helped Don many times with his back, and they both loved their trains. He will be missed.
Dear Sandy and Family, We would like to express our deepest sympathy to you and yours. Doc was a very good friend of ours, we shared many laughs in my office. I loved to listen to his many boat stories. He will be deeply missed by one and all. Sincerely, Doc & Vi Coder
Dear Sandy, Bob & Pam, Sue, Kathy and Jerry, I am so sorry for your loss...when I read Doc's obit, it brought back A LOT of memories...I had an epiphany as a result of it...There were times I thought Doc was "mean", just as I thought my mom was "mean" when I was a kid! (lol) And then, I thought of how great all of you turned out! And, I think I turned out pretty darn good too! ;-) I often ask what the heck happened to a lot of kids these days, and it occured to me...Our parents might have been "mean" in our opinion sometimes, but we RESPECTED our parents! We were petrified of our parents, not only to make them mad, but to hurt them! That is lacking in a lot of the kids today...because I think we weren't "mean" enough! We were fortunate to have a 2 parent home (also rare these days), where 1 parent was the "meany" and the other was the protector, the fun one, the cool one! Our families are much the same, and we were so very lucky! I PRAY that GOD gives you all the strength that you need to endure the coming weeks, months and years...I lost my mom in April, 2011, and I still find myself wanting to call her to give her news, weeping over her loss, and I don't see that ending anytime soon. I find comfort in knowing that we will be together again. Wouldn't it be cool if we were neighbors in Heaven too?? That would be awesome! Love to all!
Dear Sandy and family, So sorry to hear about doc. Our sympathy and prayers go out to you in your loss. He was such a kinly person. We always enjoyed visiting with him. Angie always thought highly of him and enjoyed her visits whenever they crossed paths. May God's peace and wonderful memories fill your hearts and ease the pain of your loss. God bless you all. Dear Sandy, Sue, Kathy, Bob, Jerry, and families, I send my sincere sympathy for your loss. Doc tried so hard to keep going and taking care of his patients even as he was having to slow down. He was very determined not to give up, and I appreciated that very much. You were so fortunate to have enjoyed your many fishing trips and experiences. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Sincerely, Sandy White
