Kathleen Elizabeth Wagner
My condolences,Dave. She has loved ones waiting for her.I'm sure Mark will be among them.Sorry to hear she is gone from here but glad her suffering is over.
I studied with Kathy at the American university of Beirut when she was doing her Junior Year Abroad in 1970. Then we met again when she came with her mother to Greece where I and my wife lived in 1977-78. Kathy was a gentle soul and a great person. She was full of enthusiasm and I am surprised and extremely sad to know that she has passed away. My condolences to her husband and family.
Kathleen was a dynamo both professionally and personally. What a tremendous loss and a sad time. My deepest sympathies, Dave.
Dear David and Kathleen's Family and Friends, I always have a happy thought when I drive by the "Wagner house" on Ferson Ave. Time passes but people remain in our hearts and minds. I am sorry to read of the loss of Kathleen. She was hope and goodness in action when I knew her and bet she remained that way. My condolences. Mary McCarthy, RN
My thought and prayers are with you Mrs Wagner. Thank you and you loving husband for allowing me to be involved in your life. Your radiant personality and joyful attitude despite all the challenges has been an inspiration to me and all who have been priviled to participate in your care. God bless Becky Davis
David, it has been many years since I last saw you and Kathleen. My condolences to you and the entire family. Kathleen was such a kind person. I will keep you and your family in my prayers.
I always Kathleen with a smile on her face and so upbeat, she was a fine lady and will be missed!
David, my secretary Pat Zahs informed me that Kathleen passed away. I am so sorry to learn of your loss. Kathleen clearly suffered from many of the changes that most individuals with Type II diabetes experience, but she never seemed to give up trying to live an "ordinary life" and in addition she became a nurse who could spend a great deal of time caring for others. I always enjoyed her visits to the clinic and our shared visits with you and her. Please accept by sincerest and warmest condolences. She will always been in my memories. If there is anything I can do to help you please let me know. We all were fortunate to have her in our lives. weingeistthomas@gmail.com Tom
Kathleen was a good person and will be missed...rest in peace
Dear David and family, My care and sympathy are with all of you at this time. It was my privilege to have known Kathleen. I will miss her strong, positive spirit in the face of difficulties. I will miss her gentle humor and sharing a laugh with her. May loving memories comfort you as well.
To Kathleen's family; I am a friend from long ago who had the privilege of working with Kathleen at the UIHC. I was the director of nursing and I remember Kathleen as a nurse manager and nurse specialist. I recall many visits with Kathleen as we problem-solved together. I remember her fondly and as so sorry to learn of her death. I have been out-of-state, so didn't know of her passing until another nurse told me last evening when I returned to Iowa. My sympathies are with you. I also remember Mrs. McArdle from our "olden days". Be assured that Kathleen was a wonderful nurse who cared deeply about her patients, perhaps because she could put herself in their shoes as she struggled with her diabetes. I wish you comfort and peace of heart. Lovingly, Sally Mathis Hartwig
