It was such a blessing from God that our journey through life intersected with this beautiful talented woman who shared all she had with everyone. But her love for children and assisting them through growing pains in their lives was priceless. To her beautiful girls, thanks for sharing your mom with all of us. Our sympathy goes out to all of you. Your mom, Cassie was always so full of endless energy and shared so much of herself not only with her beautiful family but with many in our community. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, may your precious memories of her comfort you...
Cassie was a tremendous person, who I am very thankful I had the chance to get to know. She helped me and my traveling basketball team greatly back when I attended high school. She used to run the Laramar Ballroom and offered to help us by giving us the event center to do many fundraising events. Without her gracious gesture, me and my team would have never been able to travel the country, represent ourselves and the Fort Dodge community. We owe her so much and she was always there to offer any help she could give. Because of Cassie's act of kindness we were able to make lifelong memories and eventually win a National Championshp - none of which would have ever been possible without Cassie's help. On behalf of myself and the "Hoop Crew" basketball team, we will never forget Cassie and her kindness. We can all learn from her genuine caring she had for others.
Cassie was always so positive and helpful. She was an extremely positive influence on my daughter. I truly admire her dedication and kindness. She will be greatly missed. Our family sends our deepest sympathies.
Cass stayed with me recently and we spent about an hour reading some poetry. She loved the following by Leo Marks... The Life That I Have The life that I have Is all that I have And the life I have Is yours The love that I have Of the life that I have Is yours and yours and yours A sleep I shall have A rest I shall have Yet death will be but a pause For the peace of my years In the long green grass Will be yours and yours And yours Rest in peace, sweet Cassie.
Dear Aunt Cassie and Cousins, Cassie and I were the same age, and most of my memories of her come from our teen years when she stayed at High street with us for a while. I remember her great joy for life. I am glad she was able to share her beautiful voice and teaching skills with so many. I am so sorry that she left us too soon. My heart goes out to you all. With love and sympathy, Betty
i am struck dumb...know not what to say...i will carry you all in my heart in these days of grief...love, cousin mark
Cassie was always an upbeat person who shared her creative talents freely and willingly. Kindhearted and lively. We will be praying that God will carry you through this difficult time. He heals the broken hearted and binds up their wounds. Psalm 147:3
there just aren't the right words to acknowlege the depth of your loss. I guess it just comes down to letting you know that regardless of the distance between us your grief is a shared and may her spirit live on amongst us Bill Whall
