Raymond J. Hamer
I worked with Ray in Marion at Chesapeake. Ray and I usually talked NFL during the season but never agreed since I am a Raiders fan. Even though he talked tough, he did try to help people whenever he could. We gave each other grief when we worked together. I always tried to hide his pallet jack before the shift started just to hear him cuss to start off the shift. He was a good man and will be missed. My prayers go out to Carolyn and his family.
Ray will be greatly missed, he was always friendly to me. Carolyn, Tim and Tom, I'm so sorry for your loss! Love Jeanne & Martin
My GOD be with you all at this very difficult time, we are thinking of you. Mom and I have a lot of good memories from living in Oakbrook as your neighbors for many years. Blessings, Carolyn & Carla
My deepest sympathy to the family of Ray. I went through grade school and high school with Ray. We drank many a cold beer together. Cherish the memories.
Ray was a very kind man to me and my family whenever he was around he would always come up and hug me and ask how I was. When I was pregnant with Kaleb he would always give me a rub on my belly and tell that little one will come soon.He always had a smile on his face whenever you saw him,and he absolutely loved Dom with all his heart it saddens me that he has passed. My thoughts and prayers are with Carolyn,Timmy,Tommy,Spring and Dom at this time.We love you all.
I grew up in Williamsburg Iowa in the 60's and Ray was one of the upperclasmen that I looked up to. Thanks Ray for your service to the country in Vietnam. My condolences to the family from a Williamsburg native.
I am so sorry for your loss. I always enjoyed going into Sammy's and seeing Ray's smiling face. I know what you are all going through and if there's anything I can do to help, please call on me. I know how it helps to talk to someone else who is going through a similar loss. I know Bob probably had a cold one ready for Ray. We can smile about that.
