I can still picture Junior standing in the driveway, talking to Dad. Whenever we needed anything, Junior and Lucy were the ones we ran to. I remember running to get him when I was a little girl and Dad hurt his thumb. Jill reminds me that Junior came to help when I was babysitting and we had a bat in the house. Mom says that she and Dad always managed to be gone whenever we had a bat. But Junior was always there to help, like it or not. I can't think of a nicer man, or a better neighbor. Lucy,Val, Tonya, and Vicky I have many great memories of Junior and want to express not my sorrow but my graditude for the oportunity to know him. He was always very set in his convictions, but also had an amazingly soft heart. One of my fond memories of him is how upset he would get with himself when he would get teary eyed over the smallest thing. He never realized that this was a sign of strenght and not a weakness. I can only tell you girls how important you were to him and how he drew his strenght from you all. Somewhere up there he is making birdies as we speak, and probably making suggestions on how they should run the place. Your in my thoughts DK
We wanted to let you know that we are thinkign of your family at this time of loss. Junior was lucky to have such a loving family. As Vickie and I have talked, he is now resting peacefully and I know you find comfort in that. No matter the reason, it is difficult losing a loved one and our thoughts are with you. I'm so sorry to hear of your loss of your loved one . I'm the son of Ray Eden , I remember Junior as a very nice man . I got to see him once in a while when him and a crew from Anamosa would come to Maquoketa to help Dad with the line work . I'll always remember him for being so nice to me . I seen Junior at my Dads visitation and had a nice visit . You have my sympathy . May God be with you and your family .
