Kay Tews
Kay Leslie (Frymier) Tews, 59, of Bloomfield, Iowa, died in her home the morning of Friday July 22, 2011. Kay will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Born March 31, 1952 to Jack and Maxine (Clouse) Frymier at Fort Jackson, South Carolina, Kay was united in marriage to Stephen Wesley Tews in Bloomfield, Iowa, on May 21, 1972.
Kay is survived by her husband, Stephen Tews of Bloomfield, IA; daughter, Annette Tews of St. Paul, MN; son, Edward Stanford of Auckland, NZ; sister, Jill (Frymier) Russell of Springfield, MA; brother, Mark Frymier of Denver, CO; and her mother, Maxine Frymier of Lakewood, CO. She was preceded in death by her father, Jack Frymier.
A Remembrance Service will be held on Tuesday, July 26 at 6:15 p.m. at Bloomfield United Methodist Church in Bloomfield, Iowa. Visitation will be held one hour before the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Friends of the Bloomfield Public Library or United Way. Messages and tributes may be left for the family on this website.
