My prayers and thoughts are with you Shirley. I have so many good memories of our square dancing years. Our very favorite was "When the Saints go marching in", and could Bob ever sing it. The best caller ever!

When we were kids I remember mom and dad and Bobby and Shirley playing cards . Bobby oftentimes would sing for all of us and occassionally did an Elvis impersonation to amuse my brothers and me. What fun ! Six years ago on my mothers birthday, Bobby, Shirley and Kenny drove to Kansas to attend my mothers birthday party. Bobby wrote a song for mom and sang it to her that day. What a special treat for her. He then gave her a copy of the song. We'll miss you Bob.

To the family of Bob , I have been inspired by this man for many years as I was a 13 yr. old becoming a square dance caller . Now that I am 50 am sadden to hear of his passing and to the family our thoughts and prayers are with you . We have lost a legend in the square dance world but now knowing he is calling his big dance with our heavenly father .

Many fond memories of Bob as a square dance caller. My husband and I danced to him for many years. Made many lasting friendships from all those square dances. Always enjoyed getting his emails too even tho we didn't actually see each other face to face!! And besides that------he was a darned good Republican!!
