Dr. Eugene Sheldahl
Doc was always a friend to me. From the time I came into this world until the last time I saw him, and every instance in between, he always had a joke and a twinkle in his eye. I can still see the rooms of that office in Clemons and remember the smell of the black bag as he opened it on a (gasp!) house call. Then there were the card parties with Doc and Edna and the whole gang raising a ruckus downstairs in our old farm house while I wasn't even close to going to sleep upstairs. Great friends. Great memories. He was a wonderful man and we'll miss him.
We would like to extend our deepest sympathy to Edna, Pam, Paula and the entire Sheldahl family. Doc was always there when we needed him in our early years in Clemons, stitching us up, or doing whatever he could to ease our pain. He was a gentle, caring person and I know he will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends. Bruce and I have been involved in doing some minor renovations in the Community Building and think of Doc quite often when we are in that building. We are wintering in Texas, but our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this difficult time. Bruce & Mary Reisinger
Pam and Family, I have you and your family in my thoughts and prayers. I am sure you are thankful for your memories of your father and for the years you have had him with you. Reading the obituary brought back many memories of "Clemons days" and in particular one Sunday afternoon visit to your father's office when my appendix was acting up. Clemons folks were good people. I miss them. Darrel Davis
My condolences to the family and friends. May all be comforted by reflecting on the wonderful memories you shared together. Also you can look forward to a time when that old enemy death will no longer separate dear loved ones, because according to Revelation 21:4 "death will be no more."
Dearest Pam and Families, So sorry to hear of your Father's passing..I will always remember your Father when he was a Dr. in Clemons. He was the only Dr. I knew in the area that would give a shot for illness, and we always got over the sickness immediately and would not have to go back again. He diffently knew his Profession.. We will be thinking of you and your family during this time. Savor the Memories..Marcia and Larry Nuese, and Marjorie Wengert..
To the family of Doc, we are very sorry for your loss. We will all miss seeing him on his golf cart around the home.
