To Betty's family, There are so many fun memories of being at Leo and Rita's while growing up at Grandma Connolly's. Betty was always so sweet and nice to us. Her smile and laughter will not be forgotten. She will be with Leo, Jerome, Carl, Chad, Mark, and others now. She was a wonderful, kind, dear person. You are all in our thoughts and prayers. With sympathy, Darcy (Connolly) & Tom Brunner family

I AM GOING TO MISS BETTY SO MUCH, SHE HAD BEEN A VERY GOOD FRIEND TO ME WHEN I WAS BATTLING CANCER, ALWAYS E-MAILING ME TO SHE HOW I WAS DOING & SENDING ME LITTLE JOKES & CUTE LITTLE STORIES. WAS SO GLAD I GOT TO BE WITH HER & TALK WITH HER AN A LUNCH AT OLIVE GARDENS THE THURS. BEFORE. ENJOYED THE TIMES WE GOT TO RIDE OUR MOTOTCYCLES IN THE GROUP, THE TIME WE ALL WENT TO ARIZONA FOR A WEEK. JEANETTE
Frosty ,Shiela and Family, I worked with Betty for many years at Rockwell. She was always a joy to be around and made the best deviled eggs with horseradish. During the last few months I have gotten to know her on another level. She was one of the sweetest, bubbly, strong and courageous people I have ever known. She will be greatly missed. May she be cradled in the arms of the Lord forever.
MANY MANY YEARS AGO I PLAYED SOFTBALL WITH BETTY. WHEN EVER I WOULD RUN INTO HER WE WOULD TALK ABOUT WHEN WE WERE YOUNGER. SHE WAS SUCH A KIND PERSON. GOD BLESS BETTY. CHAR WINK
Bob and I are so saddened to hear about Betty. We have been motorcycle friends of her and Frosty for over 20 years. We have such good memories of motorcycle rides and of friendship. Betty was a wonderful cook and always brought her garden goodies to our motorcycle meetings and picnics. She always had such a bubbly personality and always asked about our grandchildren. We were blessed to have her friendship.
Frosty- It was always such a thrill to see you two drive up on your bikes to family events and to grow up around such a bubbly, fun, sweet person. God Bless you and your family during this difficult time-Betty was certainly a one of a kind wonderful lady. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all-she will be greatly missed by all who were lucky enough to know her.
Sheila, sorry to hear about your mom you are in our prayers.
Mary, I'm really sorry Betty had to go as she did, but she is no longer in pain. She has endured so much already. I had a hard time finding her obit, because your name wasn't in there as her sister! I wish I was there to give you a big hug and help anyway I could, but with this back all messed up, I doubt that I'll be able to make it to the service. Call me if you wanna talk, you know I have open ears for you! 319-521-8089 Sonya
Please accept our condolences for your loss. We knew Betty from when we lived in Anamosa years ago and also from when we all worked at Rockwell-Collins. We both enjoyed conversing with her whenever we happened to meet. She will be missed.
So sorry to hear about Betty. She was always fun to work with, never knew what she'd come up with. She was a very good hearted lady too. She will be missed!
