Anna Lois Knapp
My husband and I would like to convey our deepest sympathy to the family and friends of your beloved Anna. We wanted to share with you something that brought us comfort at a similar time in our lives. John 11:14-44 shows us a wonderful example of what is to come-the resurrection- when Jesus resurrected Lazarus here on earth, before the very eyes of those he loved. We can only imagine the tears of joy, when we too, are reunited with our dear loved ones again. (John 5:28,29) Anna will surely be missed by those who's lives she touched. Remember the experiences you shared together and learn from them, hold them dear to your hearts and cherish them. May you find comfort from the scriptures and those who surround you at this very difficult time. Our sincere condolences to all of you who knew and loved her.
i miss you mom and i love you so much i think of you all the time
John: So sorry hear about Anna's passing, but what great memories of you and Anna when you lived south of Shenandoah and were in our Shenandoah United Methodist Church - our Sunday night family study group, singing in the choir, the tornado of 1979 and farming your land. Kathy's Mom always remembers working with Martha and spending time with Anna. Anna was a great person.
Anna is well remembered and well loved. I regret not staying in touch after the Knapps moved to Lamoni. I have many fond memories of both John and Anna and how they stepped in as "grandparents" to my four children: Dillon, Trevor, Gunar and Billie. We often spent times at their nursery and sang songs around the piano. I have memories of Anna playing bells, working tirelessly during our "live Nativity" and playing her flute. I am so grateful to have known such a loving Christian woman. I remember once when Gunar and Billie stayed with John and Anna for a week while I was in training in Lincoln. The kids enjoyed every minute. Farewell, Anna. John, I'll be praying for you.
John, I was sadden to see where Anna had passed away. I have very fond memories of both of you when you lived in Shenandoah and attended the First United Methodist Church. You sang in the choir and Anna played the bells and was always there to help in anyway no matter what we were doing or having at church. Anna will be missed. She was a devoted mother and wife. My thoughts and prayers are with you and Martha. May God grant you peace and comfort. God's Blessings Jane Foster
