Wendell was one my first cousins who I got to know moreso in the past few years. I'll certainly miss his engaging personality and political views. My condolences to his family and friends.
Losing someone we love is never easy to accept, and sometimes it must seem as if the pain is almost too much to bear. But we believe that your love will outlast the pain of the grief you're feeling. We believe that you have a place deep in your hearts where treasured memories will always live, and one day those memories will be a tremendous comfort to you. Until the day you can smile again, we hope it helps to know how sorry we are and how much we care!
I only met Wendell once on a trip to visit him with his nephew Matt and his brother Forest. He was quite the charismatic fellow and I would have liked to talk with him more about engineering and the interesting array of machinery in his barn. My condolence to the family, may peace and strength be with you all.
