Robert L. Fulwider
My very sincere sympathy to the entire family. I am just so happy that everyone got home for your moms birthday. Those are family memories that you will always cherish. I got to talk to Cris and his wife while staying at the motel in Anamosa. It was great to see Cris and meet his wife. Steve, now its your turn !! Steve and I were friends in earlier years. I secretly loved you. Then he broke my heart and married my best friend. (I forgive you..) I was wishing that I could have seen you and met your wife when your mom had her birthday. Mike...you were always so cute. Boys, I know what its like to loose a dad. Its hard and it will will remain to be hard. Remember the good times and the laughter. You now have a angel to watch over you. Take care of Mom. She will be feel lost. You need to be there just to give a hug, talk on the phone. Whatever. Just let her know that you are there and love her. She and your dad will again be together some day. Your dad is in heaven getting to know everyone. He is probably fishing with my dad... Love to all and again, you have my very sincere sympathy... Kahnie
My condolences to Robert's Family and Friends, I know his Granddaughter Staci. My Prayers are with all of you at this time. May you all find comfort.
My sympathies to the Fulwider family on this sad occasion, and especially to Cris who, for a brief time, was my best friend in college a lifetime ago. Cris, Ive thought of you often and am thinking of you today as you reunite with your family to celebrate the life of your Dad. We havent spoken since I last saw you, when I still worked for The Gazette in Cedar Rapids and you were making a new life in California. Contact me sometime and well catch up.
