James P. Draisey
John and I were so sorry to hear that "Dick" passed away. We are out of state and won't be able to attend his services. Our prayers and thoughts are with your family. John and Mary Kelchen
I have been Dick & Jan's insurance agent for the last 22 years. Only two people in all my years in the business could bring a smile to my face just by hearing their hearty laugh. One was a highway patrolman who past away 10 years ago & the other was Dick. I loved his infectious personality & also the fish he would deliver to my office almost annually. I probably still have one of his coolers in my basement. I'm a better person for knowing Dick.
My prayers and thoughts go out to Dick's family at this time of their loss . I remember Dick with fond memories of his hard work at Iowa Electric (IES) and his humor . I value the opportunity to have known him.
Dick was my supervisor for a time at the old IE. Great guy the crews all respected for his humor and honesty. Sorry to hear of his loss to cancer. What a devastsing disease. I lost my wife to it in October. Hang in there Janet and lean on family and friends
I met Dick when I joined Industrial Energy Applications (Alliant Energy) in 1996. He was always very kind and helpful to me and always had a smile on his face.
We would like to offer our deepest symphathy for your loss. You will be in our thoughts and prayers.
I served in the army with James and he was one of the best friends I have ever had.
