James P. Draisey
James "Dick" Draisey, 72, of Cedar Rapids died Monday January 19, 2009 in his home of cancer. There will be no public services. The Cremation Society of Eastern-Central-Western Iowa is assisting with arrangements. Survivors include his wife, Janet; two sons, Perri (Kim) Draisey of Keota, IA and Dana (Cindy) Draisey of Sioux Falls, SD. Also surviving are grandchildren Dustin, Lucas, Trevor, Alexandra, and Patrick. His parents and a grandson Zachary Ryan preceded him in death. James Patrick Draisey was born August 3, 1936 in Mitchell, SD to William and Bertha Draisey. He served in the US Army in the late 50''s. James married Janet Geisler on June 13, 1959 in Gowrie, IA.
