I was hoping I could send some photographs to you of Roger during his senior year at New Providence Community School - he was one of my classmates. I remember him just as described in the obituary- He never met a stranger and could make you laugh about anything. He took the same trip I did to New York our senior year and made it all the more fun. A couple of the photos I have to share are from that trip and ice skating at Rockefeller Center. He and I attempted pair figure skating - note the operable word "attempted". It sure would have been enjoyable to have caught up with Roger in our adult lives and I regret the attempts to locate him for our class reunions failed, he would have made the gathering all the more fun. I am glad he came to New Providence and was a member of the graduating class of 1977. Please let me know if there is any way I can forward some pictures to you. Sincerely, Judy M. Staples

Sandee and Mark, We want you to know our prayers and thoughts are with you and your family. We know this has been a difficult and exhausting time for all of you, but now God has given Roger rest. May He also give you peace and strength in the days ahead, and comfort to your hearts. Although we didn't know Roger, we do know God blessed him with a wonderful, caring sister - and we trust Him to continue to uphold you all. Most sincerely,

Dear Whited Family, I am terribly sorry for your loss, the passing of Roger. He was a special class friend as we went to school together at Cleveland and Roosevelt and a year at Jefferson. I have fond memories of Roger as he was friendly, whitty and always smiling. May you find peace in the celebration of his life.

We were so saddened to hear of Roger's death. Richard and I were in his graduating class in New Providence and tried many times to find him for reunions. We have such fun memories of times with Roger. I have a few pictures I would love to send you if you care to send your address. My greatest memory was going up in the St. Louis Arch with Roger on our class trip. He truly scared me witless!!! and all while laughing! I've never been fond of heights since and ALWAYS think of him when the opportunity arises to "go up". I'm so glad Roger was near, but sad we didn't get to see him. You are in our prayers for comfort. Cherish the good times, we will! Sincerely, Richard and Tamma (Gibbs) Perry 902 Washington St. Eldora, IA 50627
