Lester Clyde Troster
I met Les when he was about 15 years old, and we sort of grew up together in Des Moines. He was a very handsome, athletic, and sometimes rebellious guy. He was also the father of my son and I will always have fond memories of the early years. My heart goes out to the whole family, especially to his children and his mother, who will always be my second mom.
I'm sure Les is free of pain - he had a long hard battle and now he can be free. Our deepest sympathy to all of his family. Marilyn and Theron

I don't know to begin with all the happy memories at Les & Martha's home growing up with Bobbie Jo! Suddenly becoming ill at bedtime and Les & Martha having to bring me home frequently comes to mind. My thoughts are prayers are with everyone at this difficult time. I know the last few weeks were hard for Les and you all and he is finally in a better place, but it doesn't make it easier for you all. Bobbie, if I can do anything for you please call me! Lived around the corner from your dad on francis ...he lived on lincolin...just down from mike huston which is my cousin.......very sorry for your lose...My Prayers are with you John...........

We have lost such a Great Guy!!!! Lester was a great 1/2 Brother and Brother-in-law to us!!! We only got to know him a short time and got to share many memories with him and his wife!!! We'll Miss You Les!!!
Les and I were childhood friends. We went sledding together as well as fishing. Losing a good friend after knowing him for 55+ years is so sad as well as a reminder that we are not here forever. I have many memories of good times I spent with Les as well as the love he felt for Martha and family. He will be missed.
