Evelyn M. Crawley, 63, of Perry, IA passed away Saturday, January 19, 2008 at the Dallas County Hospital in Perry, IA. Per her wishes, Evelyn was cremated. A celebration of life memorial will be held at 12:00 PM on January 25, 2008 at the St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Perry, IA. Visitation will open at 11:00 AM and an informal lunch gathering will follow services at St. Patrick’s School. Evelyn Mae Crawley was born August 20, 1944 in Guthrie Center, IA, the daughter of Jesse and Alta (Burns) Crawley. Evelyn graduated in 1961 from Dallas Center High School. She worked as an Office Manager for the ARKEY Construction Company in Golden Valley, MN. Evelyn enjoyed spending her time reading, gardening, and bird watching. Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents Jesse & Alta Crawley and 2 brothers Harley and Jim Crawley. She is survived by former husband Philip Jarnagin; their 2 children Jon (Jessica) Jarnagin and their son Jaymes of Big Lake, MN and daughter Nicole (Steve) Watson of Minnetonka, MN; 3 sisters Shirley Van Deventer of Adel, IA, Jane (Max) Marean of Peru, IA and Coleen Meier of Ogden, IA; other relatives and many friends.
