Clifford Moon

I am so sorry to hear that Cliff passed away. He was truly a kind-hearted gentleman who would do anyting for you that he could. He loved his daughters and his wife very much, and he was a hard worker. He provided a fine family life for his family. I have many fond memories of Cliff, and he will be missed. Spending time with Portia growing up, always was interesting to say the least. We definetly knew where to find trouble, and Cliff knew we were looking for it too. All Cliff was concerned about was that we stayed safe while having fun. When I looked at Cliff, I never seen his "color" I just seen a wonderful friend. YOU WILL BE MISSED> Lisa

Memories of my father will always be a part of my life whether they be good or bad,but he was always willing to help out anyone whom needed. Its really a shame that more peole in the community couldn't have looked beyond the color of his skin and looked at the real person that he was. I LOVE YOU DAD!

God designed each of us prior to creating the heavens and earth. We don't choose the color of our skin, we don't choose the color of our eyes, we don't choose the color or texture of our hair, or what family we are born of... We all have a purpose in this life. Every purpose is for the glorification of God and His Kingdom. I believe one of the purposes God had for my dad was to drop him in rural, Iowa. God gave my dad great courage, intelligence, and wisdom to raise his family in a small, all white Iowa town. He endured many racial attacks throughout the years, many were hidden from us as children. Still he stayed so that his family could grow up in a safe community. God gave him the courage to stay so perhaps there could be a few less ignorant individuals in our midst. I have always said, if God gave me the opportunity to choose my parents...I would never have choosen differently. Praise God for my dad (and mother) and for what I learned from them. Have mercy on those who hate based on the color of skin for as Jesus said they know not what they do. Jesus also said whatever you have done to the least of these, you have done unto me.
