Richard Dick M. Wytrwal, 54, of Clinton, IA, died suddenly on Sunday, October 7, 2007 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City. Per his wishes, he was cremated and the arrangements were handled by the Cremation Society of Eastern Iowa. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, son, and brother. Survivors include his wife, Lynn; sons, Erik of Chicago and Mikel of Iowa City; parents, Stan & Irene Wytrwal of Clinton; sister, Donna (Dru) Seiver of Clinton; and a brother, John (Alicia) Wytrwal of Louisville, KY. Richard was born November 19, 1952 in Clinton, IA, the son of Stan & Irene Wytrwal. He married Lynn Dolan on August 19, 1972 in Clinton. Richard was Vice President of Allied Business Accounts and worked in healthcare collections for over 30 years. He was a member of AAHAM and served on the executive board of the Illinois State and National office. Dick (as he was known professionally) was highly accredited as a member receiving his CCAM Certification in 2005. As a certified instructor with ACA (American Collectors Association) he presented over 350 educational classes. In 1992 Dick was awarded Instructor of the Year. He was also involved in a number of community and private organizations including the Jaycees, Clinton Little League Baseball, Moose Lodge, Fulton Country Club, Gateway Bass Busters, Cub Scouts Pack 63 and served on the St. Irenaeus church council. In his free time he enjoyed watching the Bears, golfing and spending time with his father. Family and friends will always remember that the only thing bigger than Richs smile was his heart. A Life Celebration will be held at Noon on October 28th and Eagle Point Park Lodge, Clinton, Iowa. Family and friends are invited to attend.
