Ronald Arthur Mesecher

Ron was a fantastic person, always caring about others. He suffered great fisical pain, but found relief by making others laugh. He has left footprints in my heart. His influence on my life has made it a joy to have known him. He will be greatly missed. I loved him dearly, he was my Brother-in-law, and became a real Brother very early in my life. I will always cherrish the impression he has left on my life. Ron will always be with us in our hearts. Your Sister, Aunt, and Great Aunt, Arlene

What can we possibly say to express our sympathy? Our families have been connected for as long as I can remember... the kids consider both Ron and Linda "honorary grandparents" and it truly is such an HONOR to have you all in our lives. Even though Ron is seperated from us temporarily, we take comfort in knowing we will see him again in eternity! For God so loved the world that he gave his only son, so that no man should parish. John 3:16 With our love, hugs and prayers.... Joani, Don, KeiLani and Brandon Vessar

What do say about your big brother? I was lucky to have 3 big brothers, but Ron was my closest brother in age and in my heart. I was always so proud to say he was my big brother. There are so many wonderful memories. No one could make you laugh more than he could. I truly miss him calling me "sweetie" and telling me he loved me. I love and miss you, your little sister - Linda Rae

I remember the first time Ron was back in fort dodge after he lost his legs. Mike and I walked through the Dodger Tap doors and Ron yelled out loud that someone stole his legs! I think that was the first time in my life I went silent. He busted out laughing! Now what a great sense of humor Ron had. He never seem to let things get him down. He will be very much missed. God has sure got a treasure with him Now. Love Denise

Can't hardly believe that you have been away from us for over 5 months already - it just seems like yesterday we were sitting there reminising about our lives together. I miss you so bad dad, sometimes it really hurts. I know that you are all better now and watching over us all every day and I talk with you almost every day - even throw you a kiss at your picture that I have up at work. I just heard the song "I will remember you" and it just brought back so many memories. Until we meet again, I love you with all my heart and miss you more each day.

You worried about everyone but yourself, and Razzing those you Loved. We laughed and cried together, we lived our lives as one, we had no secrets. A promise kept: "I Love You" each nite before going to sleep. I am so glad we reminisced throughout the years (and the week before you went away) how well blessed we were with children, grandchildren, family, and friends. How proud we are of our children, grandchildren and all the good years we've had together as a family. You made my dream come true in 2000, being able to take our family to Cozumel. Thank You for all the beautiful memories. You'll always be in my heart. Love You, and Miss You ! Linda (Your Lovely Louise)

we have so many great memories of Ron. Stories from the bowling alley could fill up pages. But our favorite memory is the vacation Paul and I took to Cozumel with Ron and Linda. So many misadventures, I don't think we have ever laughed so hard. Only Ron and Linda could have made it that fun. Linda, Debbie, Beth and Bobby, you are very fortunate to have had such a great guy like Ron in your lives, we all are. We will miss him alot and think of him often, with a smile. You have our deepest and most heartfelt sympathy. Paul, Tammy, Cody, Kylie and Hunter Arneson

My grandpa used to always like to tease me every chance he got. He taught me how to do a wheelie on a wheelchair! Every time I came down to spend the night, we would watch the A-Team that he recorded. He would sometimes pause in the middle of the show and he would tell me funny stories about things that happened in his life because he was reminded from the show. My grandpa and I were really close because I came over so much. I will miss my grandpa's ornewryness and how he would always think of other people first. He will always be in my heart and my dreams, and also at my slumber parties.

Hey Dad, I am so glad that you shared so many stories and your feelings with me the week before you left us. I will never forget that week as long as I live. It was so nice having you home and taking care of you. I really enjoyed that special time we had together. It gives me comfort to know how proud you are of each and every one of your children and grandchildren. And you told me so many times how great of a wife you had. She truly is great, dad. Not a day goes by that I don't think about you. I am only glad that you are living without all your pain and troubles any longer. We all miss you so much. I know you are calling every one up there sweetie right now and probably telling them jokes to make them laugh. You were great at it along with many other things. Love you always and forever until we meet again. Your loving daughter Debbie
