Obituary for Gene R. Brinkman

Gene Raymond Brinkman, 75, of Cedar Falls, died December 11, 2007 at Allen Memorial Hospital following an extended illness. No services will be held. Cremation and arrangements entrusted to the Cremation Society of Eastern–Central–Western Iowa. Survivors include his wife Thelma, children Allen Brinkman and wife Jeri of New Rochelle, IL, Bonnie Hughes and husband Michael of Cedar Falls, Diana Brinkman of Mountain View, CA, Linda Geerdes and husband Gaylen of Cedar Falls, Brenda Brinkman of Dubuque, and Michael Brinkman of Waterloo; also surviving are several grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, and three brothers. Gene Raymond Brinkman was born May 5, 1932 in Evansville, Indiana the son of Raymond and Rose (Son) Brinkman. He was married to Thelma Blair on December 17, 1949 in Henderson, Kentucky. He was a Senior Designer at John Deere for many years.
