Allen D. Bentrott

Daisy, Mary, Beth, Dean, and Donna and family, I am sorry to hear about Allen's passing and want you to know that you all are in my thoughts and prayers. Many miles have been traveled by all of us since the days on "Ninth Street" in Tipton but as I look back I can still remember fond memories that took place in our little neighborhood. It is hard to believe that it has been 27 years since I left to "see the world" but still I always peek back to try to stay up on current events. I guess no matter where we live, Iowa will always be "home." Having lost my father in 1998, I know you are sad but remember the good times well spent with him. The laughs, hugs, smiles that you all shared and remember that he loved you as you loved him and now that he has gone "home" that he is no longer suffering and is waiting with those of the "Ninth Street gang" for us to catch-up when it our time too. My family is now wide-spread but I will let them all know of Allen's passing. Take care of each other my neighbors and may our paths again cross soon. Doug and Family
