Our prayers are with the family. "The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he restores my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake.Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; ...Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever" Psalm 23

To Cookes, Tim, Vince and Jean, always with love... I carry her name and carry some memories, although they were few, our exposure little. Never-the less, Nancy had the gift of making me feel loved, welcoming me without reservation into her home and her heart. Her children are her legacy, and they are beautiful. Cookes, who has been my rock for as long as I can remember. Tim who saw me at my worst and, I hope, forgave me. And Vince who, with Tim, were partners in crime in our youth. Unfortunately, Jean I barely ever met. All of you are remarkable in your strength and giving. You've made your mother proud and there is no better memorial for a mother's memory. Walk in peace, my dears. I hold you gently, always, in my heart. ...Nancy

Though I only met Nancy a few times she was very sweet and nice to me. A wonderful blessing to have your mother as long as all of you did. My prayers are with you. God Bless you all.

I'm gonna miss; Arguing with Nancy about how long food can/should be kept in the fridge. I really enjoyed the conversations we used to have because she could get as deep into the core of the topic of the conversation right along with me and knew what I was talking about. She loved the pears on the tree in our back yard. I will have one for/with her every year. I think she got a kick out of me calling her Mrs.Glamorous

Final letter to Nancy - My Mother-in-law You were my advisor, teacher, penpal, and great friend. I'll always remember the time Dan, Tim and I took you out to lunch - you made us all laugh! You were always young at heart - when you came to visit us for Christmas in FL and went to the grocery store with Nicole, Jade and me- (you were in your 80's) you said you'd never seen so many good looking senior men in one place and took off with your cart. We thought we'd never catch up with you. When I see a flower bloom it will remind me of you and all the beautiful flower paintings you did. Your journey has ended but I'll see you later. It's been a pleasure - we will miss you. Candy
