Phillip James Vandine

Your husband/father was one of the first men besides my own father that I could look up to and respect. He always treated me well, and I enjoyed the times I was in your home. I am grateful that he was a Godly man, and will be in heaven some day when I get there. God bless you all. I share your sadness, but rejoice in his salvation.

To Aunt Susie and Family, 'Thinking of you all from the Becker family. Sorry these condolences are delayed. I didn't learn of Uncle Jim's death until yesterday(Jane Jochims sent me a note and the memorial program). I'm guessing that someone called mom, but her memory is faulty, so none of us knew. I'll always remember Uncle Jim's meticulous craftsmanship and skill at woodworking, home renovations, and whatever he tackled. The picture of him in his Merchant Marine uniform is wonderful--what a great smile. Love, Barbara Becker on behalf of the Beckers
