Dear Deb & family, We have no words to express how deeply sorry we are for your loss. Larry touched many lives and he will truly be missed. May God give you strength and comfort during this very difficult time. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Deb, KP, Alicia and Stephanie
I just wanted to thank everyone that has taken the time to leave a little message for us here. Larry and I appreciate your thoughtfulness, prayers, and comforting words. God Bless You All! From, Deb, Eric, Emily, Jake, Erica, John, Drew.
Hey Deb, I can't even begin to imagine what you've been through this last week, and throughout Larry's entire illness. You are fortunate to have such good friends and family, both in Iowa and Nebraska. I'm so glad you talked me and the girls into coming out to visit last July when Larry was feeling pretty well. (Well enough to complain about your driving!) You are in my thoughts and prayers. See you soon....
I worked with Larry at Bed Bath & Beyond,he was always keeping the store running like clock-work. (Having fun, of course) I remember when three gals called in, to be excused from work on a Saturday night, and we were wondering what to do. Of course he said, "don't worry about it, I will cover the Customer Service Area" He was always saving the day. What a great guy that God put on this earth! He heard that I played golf, and the next thing you know, I was out on the course with Debbie. He must have taught her everything he knows about golf, because she played a good game. (SMILE) Prayers and thought are with you Debbie, keep up the courage that you have carried during this journey. God Bless You And Your Family. Michelle Richers & Family
Larry was a great person and truly a great friend--he will always be remembered. My family will keep you in our thoughts and prayers during this tragic time and hope that you find comfort that he is with God and no longer suffering. In deepest sympathy, Terry, Missy, Justin and Colby Starr
Deb: I am so sorry for your loss, but am thankful that you were lucky enough to find the great love that you and Larry found in each other! You will stay in my prayers as you have been for many months. Love you, Michele Squires
Dear Debora and family, My deepest sympathies on your loss. May God bless you and give you strength. Cherie Crozier daughter of Jerry and Leslie Crozier
In John 11:25-26 Jesus says "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will have eternal life." It comforts me, and I hope it comforts you, to know that Larry believed and that he is with Jesus in Heaven, and we will see him again someday. There's an old hymn I like that goes "When we all get to Heaven, what a day of rejoicing that will be. When we all see Jesus, we'll sing and shout the victory." Won't that be awesome? Deb, Bud, Kathy, Eric, Emily and the rest of the family - I'm praying that all of you can find the peace and comfort you need to get through this time of sorrow. Love, Paula
We will miss Larry very much. He was a kind man and he will always remain in our hearts. God Bless.
May the Huskers always win and May all your Drives be long and in the short grass. Thanks for being a friend. Love Jerry and Ruthie
Deb, I'm so sorry. I had no idea Larry was even sick, I was driving to work this morning when Tom Nurre called me and asked if I read The Gazette over the weekend. We dont get the Gazette in Mt. Pleasant, so Tom told me of Larry. I am just in shock. My eyes swell every time I think about you and Larry. Deb I will never forget the first week Larry started at Pepsi, we were together on a route in Iowa City for a week straight and the kicker was it was around 106 degrees all week it seemed, and having Larry with made that week much more tolerable as we laughed at eachother sweating like a couple of drinched dogs. It seems like a month ago we were neighbors and I would always see you guys walking past our house every night. The times in the hot tub, the one time I got so drunk in that tub. I'll never forget going golfing with Larry. He was just 49 I can't believe this has happened. My prayers and thoughts are totally with you, sorry I was'nt able to make the service today. I sure wish I could have been there. I promise to stop in and see you sometime soon. Im in CR every week for something and I would love to just sit down and talk sometime. I can mow the yard or rake leaves or anything please let me know. Again, my thoughts, prayers, love go out to you. p.s. I would still tell Larry that the Cornhuskers SUCK. Pat Ensminger
Deb, My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Deb, I'm sorry for your loss. I know you will miss Larry a lot. My thoughts and prayers are with you
I got to know Larry when he worked with Pepsi, later with Bed, Bath and Beyond. I work at the Collins Road Hy-Vee. I was so sadden when I saw his obituary in today's paper. May God have a special place for him!
